Hello fellow lavender lovers!
As we enter 2023 we are very excited to share whats new at Red Oak Lavender and classes we are offering this year. We are sharing everything from tips and tricks of growing lavender to making your own beauty products! During the summer months we offer a plethora of classes to partake in these fun activities and expand your knowledge of lavender with us here at Red Oak Lavender.
2023 will be our 10th year of business and couldn't be more proud of our lavender blooms. Growing lavender in Georgia has proven itself to be quite the challenge but we have adapted our soil and provided remedies so that the lavender can thrive here in our acidic, clay soil. We would love to share our secrets with you in our new Lavender Academy Class being offered in April of 2023.

In this class we offer guidance on an advanced level for those who need the ins and outs of growing lavender and propagating it on their own land. We have traveled across the world to find the best ways for lavender to grow and bloom. We cannot wait to share these secrets with you! Learn from some of the most experienced lavender farmers in Georgia. The Academy class is an intensive 4 hour course. Materials and lunch are provided for everyone. If you are looking for a more beginner friendly class, we offer Plant n' Take Workshops that offer this information on a simpler scale. We provide a pot, the correct soil and your lavender plant to take home with you! Our classes always provide a hands on approach to things and we love for our students to be as involved as possible. We are excited to see what 2023 will bring so wear your work boots and we can get started!

Our Red Oak Lavender Farm Shop will reopen February 8th, 2023 and we are excited to see you back in the shop for all of your lavender needs. We will have lavender plants for sale on April 22nd and classes will begin in April as well.
Don't wait to sign up for a class as participation is limited due to material needs and we like to keep classes small to allow for maximum teacher/student interaction. We have a maximum of 10 spots per class with a minimum participation of 5 spots. Advanced registration is necessary for most of our classes as materials need to be purchased ahead of time and to make sure all are comfortable since seating is limited.
