Decade of Growing

We are very excited for this upcoming year - 2024! So we have decided to share some of our knowledge with our visitors to make it a year of excitement to celebrate our tenth year here at the farm. Throughout the year we will have many hands on experiences, classes, artist spotlights, and more. Check out a glance of what we are planning.

Learn how we plant lavender in the southeast and get it to survive to enjoy it relaxing scent and benefits. Join us in planting our 4,000 Dahlia tubers, Learn how we grow Dahlias and how to set up your garden for growing Dahlias. Dahlia tubers will also be available for sale. 

Benefits of lavender - from its health advantages to what you can do with fresh lavender and all their varieties. Learn how to make lavender French wands for drawers, lavender halos, and lavender recipes. June is also a time for You-Picks here at the farm!

July: Harvest time. Yes, you too can join in the fun and learn how to harvest. We will also show off our copper distiller, how it works, and the benefits of lavender oil.

August: Zinnias, Zinnias, Zinnias! Learn all about the different varieties, how to grow them, and how to preserve them. Learn to make Zinnia wreath or a Zinnias flower chain. Save the seeds - you can save seeds for your garden for the next year.

September: Beautiful Dahlias! Learn all about Dahlias and how to preserve these beauties once cut.
