How to add Lavender Flowers into Your Wedding

For weddings - each flower has a specific meaning. For Lavender its meaning is  Devotion, Serenity, Grace, and Calmness. This is how my own wedding went off when of course we used lavender in my wedding.  Lavender has a true calming  scent and gorgeous purple hue, it is a wonderful choice to add a splash of color to the wedding celebrations.

We have done many lavender wedding flower arrangements from bouquets for bride and bride maids, to boutonnieres, as well as table arrangements and lavender for tossing. Fabulous advice - you want to use dried lavender always. Fresh lavender does droop as soon as it is cut/harvested. This is the reason you see lavender drying hanging the bundles upside down. Lavender does keep its amazing color once dried and when people either walk by a lavender bouquet, heated by a close candle, or held by bride and brides maids it will have that heavenly calming scent.

Many ideas can be seen online and on Etsy. You may purchase only lavender bundles for making your own bouquets and decor for your wedding or let us do it.  Be sure to have an idea with photos of what you want with lavender before sitting down with us to set up your lavender order.  We can do everything from bouquets, boutonnieres, arrangements for alter, aisle decor, table pieces, table setting, or for tossing.
*Note: If adding another flower/s be sure to check what is in bloom at the month of your wedding. For example: sunflowers are for autumn weddings, ferns for August - not great, since ferns have spores on the back during this month.

Whether you use a touch of lavender or full lavender into your wedding can make it a dream. *The photo below is my wedding bouquet.

*Note: Dried lavender is most used in wedding, since fresh lavender droops right after cutting.
