As we near the end of the year, I find myself looking back at post photos. I am amazed how beautiful the lavender was this year, especially since lavender is not suppose to grow well in the South. To be honest, it's a lot of work to grow lavender and keep it growing, but so well worth it when we hear people say how glad they were to find us and the ohs and ahs when they stepped into our shop. Oh the smell, the sweet lavender scent and to behold all the lavender bundles hanging up above their heads. The next thing we hear is, "You make all this here?" The answer is yes, we make most all of the products in our lavender shop. We work so hard for all of you, to give you products you love; natural, pure, and homemade. We do not have any warehouse. All of our products are made in small quantities. This way all of our products are fresh and top quality.
Rain..rain...and more rain this past year! 15 inches more rain than normal for our area and that is not good. We had a lot of losses, but planted more. It was a lot of sweat and pains in the back. The bath salts were great for repairing those pulled muscles and aches and pains. We can certainly testify our lavender bath salts really work. But all the aches and pains were well worth it to see your smiles and the moments you were able to share here in the farm with family and friends.
We want to thank everyone who came out to our farm and helped us to grow to this amazing lavender farm, beauty for the eyes and an amazing sweet aroma to devour. So to end, we will be anxiously waiting to see you enjoy the farm next year. And just wait till you see our surprises we have planned for next year!
